Ivy

Ivy, and her sister Frida, are my first bred by pups to personally keep, and I couldn't be more pleased! This was a breeding planned to be linebred on Eden's sire, DC Copley's Red River. We traveled from Houston to California for the breeding, and enjoyed a fun visit with our Caliah Brittany family - Shellie, Mary, and Nalu's wonderful owner Carrie Castro. It was a wonderful visit that resulted in an even better litter! 

Ivy is her sire, Nalu, in a female version. I absolutely love her spunk and confidence. She has her mothers enthusiasm, cleverness and intelligence. Shes just the right amount of independence with biddability as well. And I can't wait to get her into the field this fall and see what she can do!

In the show, Ivy didn't hit the ring until she was 13 months old, and her very first time out she comes away with 10pts, both majors, and a specialty Best in Sweepstakes win. She handled everything like a pro, with confidence and happiness.

The beginning of 2023, Ivy has taken to the field to learn more about birds and see what she can do! Her first week with our friend Trey, she places 2nd in Amateur Walking Derby! She has a great natural forward run, and very stylish points, so we are eager to see what she can do in the field. So far she has been impressing those that have seen her! She has a lot of run for a little thing and we love it!
