Lucy

Lucy is our keeper puppy from the Sundance x Addi litter. She lives with mama Addi and the Deikes, and I co-own her. She was a favorite of mine from birth, because she had a beautiful blocky head and her daddy's smudge on her lip - the only puppy out of 10 to have it! And as luck would have it, she was the chosen girl to stay.

Super sweet like her daddy, Lucy's tail is always wagging and she is a very biddable, fast learner. Shes the perfect blend of both her parents, and we are really excited to continue watching her grow and mature. 

Lucy attended the 2020 Brittany National and was one of the youngest in the 6-9 month puppy class. She held her own though and took a 2nd place out of 10 puppies! I was also blown away when I saw a video of her movement - that girl has some side gait! I knew she was a pretty mover but had not had a chance to see her move well on leash until then. Pretty exciting! 

Lucy is learning to be a bird dog in the new year with our friend Trey Baer. Already a day into it and she is pointing with style and intensity! We look forward to developing her natural instincts and seeing what she can do!

March 2021 Update! Lucy wins a Specialty Winners Bitch for a 5pt major! And picks up another 5pt major on the same weekend! Yay Lucy!

April 2021 Update! Lucy finishes her Junior Hunter title!

May 23, 2021: Lucy is a NEW CHAMPION! This also makes her our first Bred-By Champion, and the first Champion offspring for both Sundance and Addi! 

November 2021: Lucy and professional field trainer and handler Vic Carrington win the Open Derby! This gives Lucy points towards her Field Championship, making her DUAL Pointed!
