Rain

Rain is from a special partnership between Caliah Brittanys (Mary Brown & Shellie Sytsma) and myself. My Eden came from them, and they soon became more than just breeders to me, they became dear friends and dog breeding "partners in crime." When they were planning a breeding with their beautiful girl Cricket and asked about using Sundance, I was absolutely thrilled! And the puppies did not disappoint! It was a gorgeous litter of 5 sweet puppies, and Rain was a standout from the beginning. He always had the deepest, richest mahogany red color, and this big beautiful broad head, with these soulful kind eyes. At evaluations, there was no question he was staying.

COVID put a damper on his show career, causing shows to cancel right as he was 6 months old. So his very first show was the 2020 Brittany National. He walked in the ring like a pro at just 15 months old and won Best in Sweepstakes with Shellie! It was a huge, thrilling win!

Rain is owned by Jim & Gail Collins and co-owned by Shellie and myself. Watch for him at shows in 2021, and he may even dabble in some field events with Jim! We are so excited about this sweet beautiful boy and can't wait to see what his future holds.

 March 2021 Update! Rain attends his first dog show in Texas and wins a Specialty Best of Winners for a 5pt Major, another BOW for 5pts, and a BOW for 4pts! Now to find the final point to finish his championship!

April 2021 Update! Rain finishes his Junior Hunter title completely owner handled!

March 2022 Update! Rain finishes his Championship by taking another Specialty 5pt major! He then bumps up as a special for the following specialty, and takes a huge Select Dog win!
