A great basic book on Brittanys and general dog care, written by the late Beverly Millette, of Millette Brittanys.
My favorite go-to book on structure, puppy evaluations, showing and more! Pat Hastings is an AKC judge and one of the best writers for all of these topics. Highly recommend this book for anyone interested in breeding, showing or just learning canine structure.
Patricia Trotter is my breeder idol. She is amazing, and she has written this fabulous book to share her knowledge with the dog fancy. It is a thick book, but it covers a ton of information and is an easy read. If you want to learn to breed the best you can, develop a line of your own and make a mark on the breed, this is the book for you!
Pat Hastings is an expert on puppy rearing and development. Her video, Puppy Puzzle, is an in depth look on evaluating puppies and how to predict how they'll develop as adults. This book, Another Piece of the Puzzle, is a continuation of the video and has information on raising a litter and great visuals on puppy evaluations.
This is a great compilation of articles written by the late, and infamous, Anne Rogers Clark, an AKC judge and professional handler. Her information and opinions on all things dogs are enlightening for any dog fancier to read.
Basically anything written by Pat Hastings is a wonderful resource for showing, breeding, and evaluating dogs!
For anyone wanting to fine tune their critical eye for canine structure, this is the book for you!
This was the first canine structure book my very first mentors gifted me. Based on xrays of dogs while in motion, this book focuses on canine locomotion and how all the parts work together to create to motion we see, and what is the most efficient, and correct, way for a dog to move. A must have in any dog fanciers library!
Another gem by Pat Hastings! A must have!
DVD is Pat Hasting's puppy evaluations.
Myra Savant Harris is the puppy whelping and neonatal expert. She is the go-to for anything puppy, and her books are invaluable for anyone who breeds or plans to. She has 3 books, and the link below will bring you to her website that lists all 3 separately.

Pure Dog Talk is the BEST. Laura Reeves covers every topic imaginable. She holds discussions with the top dog people in every venue - shows, performance, health, breeders, etc. I love listening to these as I drive to dog shows and always find myself saying Yes! and nodding along as I listen. I love everything about this podcast.
Laura Reeves also hosts The Good Dog Pod for Gooddog.com, and does as good of a job as with PDT!
