Shia

We are excited to welcome Shia to the Jenvy family! He is owned by our dear friends and co-breeders, the Deikes, who also own Addi and Lucy. They got Shia as a pup from Dogwood Hollow Brittanys, and he finished quickly and easily as a young dog. From there, he went to the field to learn about birds, and LOVED it!

When he came back, it was time to work on his Grand Championship, which he earned quickly under the skilled hand of handler Laura Chamness (who also finished his CH). In limited showing, he earned a Group 2 and multiple Best of Breed wins.

From there, I took him to the 2022 National, hopeful but not expecting anything. And we came away with Select Dog, out of an entry of over 60 specials! In the final 4 placements, we were among two dog and handler teams that both won Breed and a Group 2 at Westminster, respectively. To say we are honored, humbled and grateful would be an understatement! 

Shia then started off 2023 with a BANG - Winning a Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3! Ranking him #3 Brittany in the country in January.

We can't wait to see what is in store next for Shia, and to watch his puppies grow up and start their own adventures!
